How the website inspector works
Does the website inspector use Google PageSpeed or another external API?
No. The scanner fetches the public website directly from the Next.js server and analyzes its response, HTML, headers, TLS certificate, robots.txt, and sitemap without Google APIs.
Can the scanner identify every technology a website uses?
No detector can identify every hidden or server-side technology. Rex Website Inspector reports evidence and confidence for public signatures and clearly labels uncertain or unavailable information.
Does the accessibility score certify compliance?
No. The score covers automated static signals only. A browser-based and human accessibility audit is still required.
